October 9, 16, 23, 30November 6, 13, 20, 27

We are thrilled to be holding this workshop series at the newly-reopened Garden Museum. This is a beautiful venue, that explores and celebrates British gardens and gardening through its collections, temporary exhibitions and garden.

Led by ceramic artist Katie Spragg, these weekly workshops for people affected by early stage dementia and their companions will provide an introduction to working with clay; exploring our connection to objects, memories, souvenirs and place.

Based in the beautiful setting of the Garden Museum, Katie will demonstrate techniques to create objects and sculptures from clay, inspired by the nature celebrated at the museum. The pieces created will be fired in the kiln ready to take home at the end of the workshops.

The workshops are free of charge. As places are limited, early registration is recommended and participants and their companions registering are invited to attend all sessions.

No prior experience necessary. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
