Part of Imagine Children's Festival
Drift into a calm and mindful night-time routine with tales and music from around the world, brought to us by vocalist Supriya Nagarajan and sound artist Duncan Chapman. Slumber Stories are a series of intimate, live performances of diverse storytelling accompanying a bespoke sound installation. Designed to help create a tranquil bedtime ritual for the whole family, Nagarajan and Chapman bring tales from different parts of the world to life with live singing and musical interludes. Bring a cushion or mat and take a seat (or even lie down) on the floor to relax to a tapestry of cross-cultural literary experiences. Created and produced by Manasamitra.
Please note that seating for this performance is on the floor. You are welcome to bring a cushion or mat, and we encourage those who want to lie down and close your eyes during this performance.
From 10.30am. Approximate run time: 45 mins. Run times may vary by up to 20 minutes as they can be affected by last-minute programme changes, intervals and encores.
