Go behind the scenes at this special Family Day, with activities running throughout the day:

Hear the mighty organ roar: Enjoy the 7000-pipe organ from wherever you are in the Abbey as our organists demonstrate this instrument’s incredible sound.

Art and Craft: Explore pitch with pipes and create your very own mini organ.

Musical Map: Follow our musical map, complete the challenges and explore the history of music at the Abbey, from the Benedictine monks to today’s choir.

Family Music Tour: Join one of our guides and discover more about the long history of music at Westminster Abbey. Visit the organ loft and meet our organist for a behind-the-scenes demonstration.

Family activities will finish at 2.00pm but you can tour the Abbey until it closes at 4.30pm.

This event is in partnership with SouthWestFest, a community festival showcasing culture, community and heritage through fun activities and engaging events for all ages.
