HIDDEN LITERATURE – A WORKSHOP EXPLORING WINDRUSH THROUGH POETIC THEMES FOR CHILDREN 8 – 12 YEARS.
This exciting workshop is for Hackney’s young wordsmiths. Led by Hidden Literature – a platform for poets & spoken word artists – the workshop will explore events around Windrush, to inspire each participant to write their own performance material. Throughout the workshop, participants will be invited to participate in interactive spoken word prompts and games.
Hidden Literature is a platform for poets & spoken word artists. We recognise the importance of poetry and how influential the art form can be. We work to create a greater awareness of poetry through our events, including open mic nights, and online platforms such as our blog, and Spotify playlist.
