Poster Art (5-8yrs)

Make a Pop Art style collaged poster inspired by Fabrica’s fun and interactive summertime exhibition, My Crazy Family Golf, by artist Lisa Watts and her father, Gordon Watts. Together this duo have created a series of crazy golf holes, each including audio recordings of their family. The golf course holes also act as playful sculptural objects in their own right, incorporating elements such as domestic carpet and household objects. Supported by artist facilitator Lynn Weddle, children and their adults can collaborate just like Lisa and her dad. Together we shall create a series of bold, bright, fun, large-scale posters with lots of style and high energy. Participants can each achieve a Discover Awards Award, with a certificate posted to them following the event – something to be really proud to receive and display at home next to your very own Pop Art Poster.
