Chris Connaughton will entertain children aged 5-7 years with storytelling.

The Boy Who Cried WolfAfter days and days of watching his father’s flock of sheep, the shepherd’s son gets bored. Desperate for some attention, he cries “Wolf! Wolf! There’s a wolf!” Hearing the cry, the villagers charge up the hill to fend off the wolf only to find that the boy had tricked them. A few days later, the boy cries “Wolf! Wolf!” Once more. Again the villagers come to his rescue only to find it is yet another lie. But what will happen the third time, when real danger strikes? Will the villagers believe the boy or will they ignore his cries for help?A tale about telling lies and the consequences.

Craft ActivitiesThere will be an ‘Animal Mask masking’ craft at The Hullabaloo on 16 & 17 April between 10am – 2pm. These craft activities are free of charge, but we do ask for a small donation (to help with material costs and supporting The Hullabaloo) if you are able to contribute. There’s no need to book, however please note there is limited capacity.
