Happy Halloween half term from space, the most dangerous place you could ever consider visiting.

Join us as we discover the constant threat of high-speed micrometeorites, your bodily fluids from boiling in the hard vacuum of space and temperatures as low as -129C (-200F) or as high as 121C (250F)... sounds like a delightful destination, right?

Activities include:

Spooky Science

Join our Professors at the School of Science Magic for lessons in explosive potions, physics-defying charms and amazing mind reading! This talk contains loud bangs, so parental discretion is advised.

What Will Kill You First in Space?

The vacuum of space is an incredibly dangerous place for humans. We need to know what will kill you in space first to build life-saving spacesuits.

Space Slime

Make your own spooky space slime in our FREE drop in session.

Life in Space Trail

Developed for our littlest astronauts, this trail will help you discover many of the hidden gems in our artefact collection and understand more about living in space. Make sure you grab a copy (suitable for families with children 7 and under).

  • Art, Film, Theatre

it will give both parents and children the chance to discover the darker side of science during the October half-term, when the weather is typically poor.
