This activity celebrates three black female astronauts who have made, or will be making, history:
Mae Jennison: 1st black woman to travel to space
Jeanette Epps: In 2021 she will become the first black woman at the International Space Station
Joan Higginbotham: The third African-American woman to travel to space
Using the templates provided, and your best crafting skills, can you turn these amazing women into Super Sheroes by designing a Super Shero mask for them to wear in space?
This workshop was created by 'Black Super Sheroes' as part of the Black History Month 2020 programme at Royal Museums Greenwich.

It encourages families to explore the contribution of black women in space.
