Paper Beach is a simple, fun activity for the kids to celebrate the magic of reading. Grab a sheet of A4 paper and a pen and answer the question 'Where does reading take you?'. You can handwrite or draw your answer, or both if you like. If you prefer you can type your answer on a tablet or computer. You then send your answer to eastcliffcreatives@gmail.com
All the entries will be collected and everyone's words and drawings will be incorporated into a giant artwork that will be revealed, piece by piece, in a live streaming event on March 12th. Our website eastcliffcreatives@gmail.com has much more information, so please check it out.
East Cliff Creatives have teamed up with International children's book publisher Egmont books (Mr Men & Little Miss, Winnie the Pooh, Thomas & Friends and many more) to create this project.

The project is really inclusive, anyone, any age, anywhere, can take part. Coming up with the answer will encourage debate about books and reading. What do kids enjoy about reading, who are their favourite characters, which are their most memorable stories. The project is not over once the entry is submitted. The kids can follow the project as it grows. There is a total-ometer to see how we are getting on and maps to show the towns where people have taken part. It is also an opportunity to allow children to express their thoughts in different mediums.
