Half term is around the corner and we know it can be a challenge to find activities to keep your little ones busy! We've put together a selection of online events and activities for every day of the week from Monday through to Friday, so you don't have to...
Monday: The Great Big Story Mix Up
£10 per family. Monday 26 October, 11.00am – 11.45pm or 2.00pm – 2.45pm. From Oxford Playhouse and Roustabout Theatre. Recommended for ages: 3 – 10 years.
The show that YOU make up...
The hit improvised play for families has gone online - and you’re in charge! You choose the characters. You choose the costumes. And, by sending in your drawings, you even design the set! Watch as your wild and wonderful ideas are brought to life by a troupe of storytellers and more than a little computer wizardry.
Tuesday: Join in on an interactive music-making session with Soundabout
FREE. Tuesday 27 October, 2.00pm. From Soundabout. The whole family can join in!
Join Soundabout live on Facebook on Tuesday 27 October at 2pm for Soundabout Live. These FREE interactive music-making sessions are aimed at adults and children with SEN, particularly those with profound and multiple disabilities.
Led by experienced practitioners, these fun multi-sensory are suitable for all ages and every fortnight there is a fun new theme.

Wednesday: Take the kids on a virtual tour of Westminster Abbey
FREE. Wednesday 28 October, 11.00am – 11.45pm or 2.00pm – 2.45pm. From Westminster Abbey. Recommended for ages: 5 – 12 years.
Have you ever wondered what lies behind the many locked doors of Westminster Abbey?
Join in on this interactive virtual tour that could only ever be delivered digitally. Taking advantage of online platforms you can see parts of the Abbey that an onsite tour just couldn't reach. Peek behind the curtain to get a new perspective on how the Abbey was built and has been used over the past 1000 years.

Thursday: Enjoy interactive storytelling with a magical twist
£3.00. Thursday 29 October, 1.30pm – 2.00pm. From Norden Farm Centre for the Arts. Recommended for ages: 4 – 8 years.
Enjoy interactive storytelling - with an added magical twist! Alongside the stories, Patrick from Norden Farm Centre for the Arts will show you how the magic works and teach a trick or two. But because Patrick is in the magic circle you must promise to keep the secrets.

Friday and into the weekend: Art activities perfect for children and families
FREE. From Gloucester Cathedral. Recommended for ages: 4 – 16 years and their grown-ups.
Gloucester Cathedral have created seven daily art activities that are perfect for children and families to do at home.
All the resources are free to download and each daily art activity is inspired by the Cathedral, from the stained glass to stone gargoyles! Don't forget to share your artwork with us online using #creativecathedral.
