1. Jack and the Beanstalk Online
£16.00 – £26.00 for the whole family. 1 December – 31 December. From Belgrade Theatre. Suitable for all the family.
The Belgrade Theatre are thrilled to be bringing you some Christmas cheer this year, with their first ever online panto.
Writer, Director and Panto Dame Iain Lauchlan returns this year with a very special version of Jack and the Beanstalk. Filmed following the latest government guidelines on social distancing, Jack and the Beanstalk Online is full to brim with slapstick silliness, crazy costumes and lots magical make-believe.
The show will be available to stream from home from 1st - 31st December. You can watch it any time you want!
2. Adventures in Pantoland
FREE. From 1 December. From Fun Kids. Recommended for ages: 2 – 10 years.
Something funny, weird and exciting is about to happen at Fun Kids!
This year, not everyone will be able to go to see a pantomime so they've decided to put all the pantomimes they can find into the circuits of Robot from the breakfast show! Will it all go to plan? Will Fun Kids have the most pantomime fun ever this Christmas?
Find out from Tuesday December 1st in Fun Kids' new series Adventures In Pantoland. You’ll be able to hear episodes every morning at 7:35am and 4:35pm as well as in the Santa Daily podcast.
Try something different this December and tune in to Fun Kids Live every morning at 7.35am and 4.35pm.
3. The Panto-logues: 12 Tiny Plays
FREE. 1 December – 31 December. From Fly High Stories. Recommended for ages: 2 – 10 years.
Let’s go to the Panto! Let’s See Beauty and The Beast! But what if you also got to meet the people who make the whole panto experience happen? Run the lights from the tech box, hear how the Stage Manager keeps everyone in line, help our friendly usher get people to their seats, watch the football in the green room with a cheeky actor, and find out what they do to make the story come to life.
The Panto-logues take listeners on a journey through the backstage of a theatre whilst a pantomime is being performed on stage. Written as a series of monologues, these funny and intriguing short audio dramas can be listened to individually or together, as you follow the story of a pantomime, both on stage and off.
Coming this December, on the Fly High Stories website, take a trip through our specially designed interactive theatre, meeting all the folk who make the theatre magic happen.
4. The Ballad of Rudy
£8.00. Sunday 27 December. From Goblin Theatre. Recommended for all ages!
Goblin present their Christmas musical The Ballad of Rudy for 2 performances only on Sunday 27th December at The Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zedel, Piccadilly, London at 1pm & 3pm. This show will be available as a live stream on 27th December 3pm.
“Brilliant... there is so much to enjoy in this innovative piece of children's theatre” What’s On Stage (5 Stars)
In Goblin’s version, Rudy does not have a red nose; it’s his talent for music that sets him apart from the other Reindeer. The production features original songs played live by talented musicians on a variety of instruments. Rudy’s adventure sees him meeting new friends including a Jazz Penguin, a blues singing Polar Bear, whilst jamming with the Puffins and beat boxing with an Arctic Fox. Rudy’s journey and experiences teach him that life is not about following the herd. It all happens at the North Pole Jazz Lounge and it’s gonna be coooool!
5. Cinderella Livestream
