Fantastic for Families is evolving: Our last summer holiday of event listings...
Fantasic For Families

This Summer Holiday is an extra special one, because it’s the last one for our event listings...

Fantastic for Families is evolving! This September, the site is turning into a Directory of all the best family-friendly arts and cultural organisations and venues across the UK. This is to help you find the best family friendly spaces and events near you, who have committed to meeting the Family Arts Standards. The new Directory will help connect you with local venues and companies. While Fantastic for Families will no longer list specific events, we’ll be sharing ideas on how to find brilliant things for families to do. So keep your eyes peeled for that!

Answering your questions...

๐Ÿ‘€ Why are you changing Fantastic for Families? We’re passionate about arts activity organisers providing experiences that are truly Fantastic for Families. By making changes we can focus our work on championing those that are, and support arts and culture providers to be more family-friendly.

๐Ÿ‘€ Where will I find local events in the future? As well as signposting you to organisations near you through our new Directory, we’ll be sharing a list of brilliant places to find events near you when our event listings close.

๐Ÿ‘€ Will you be still running the Fantastic for Families Awards? Yes, our annual awards will still be shining a light on the very best arts activities and initiatives for families across the UK. The 2022 awards will be announced in November!

๐Ÿ‘€ Can we still enjoy finding events on Fantastic for Families this summer holiday? Yes! All summer long, and we've even got some autumn and Christmas events listed if you're planning ahead. You can access the event listings until 1 September.

So for now... get ready for a summer full of wonderful creative events for your family. We’ve picked out some of our favourites below!
