Collect your box of materials and join our online workshop with Karen Raithby of Pentangle Pottery, creating clay owls in the comfort of your own home. All ages are welcome to take part and it's the perfect family activity to do together.
To tie in with our WOW! Said the Owl exhibition, you'll be making a clay owl following Karen's instructions via a Microsoft Teams meeting.
Materials will be provided and available to collect from 5-11 December from 20-21 Visual Arts Centre during normal opening hours. Make sure you pick up your box of materials before 4pm on Friday 11 December.
Join our live online workshop on Microsoft Teams at the time you've chosen to book on. We'll send you the link to join in. Enjoy your guided workshop with Karen showing you how to make your owls.
Return your owls to the gallery on 15-16 December during regular opening hours to be sent off for firing and collect the finished pieces from 19 December onwards.
The price is per participant. If a family wants to book on and each person wants to make an owl it will be £15 per person as the price is for a box of materials as well as access to the session. Both sessions are for adults and children so that entire families can participate on the same workshop.
In order to take part in this workshop you'll need Microsoft Teams installed on a smart device or computer, and a wifi connection. Once you have purchased your ticket you’ll receive an email with further details of how to join the workshop.
CV-19 Restrictions
The workshops will still go ahead in the event of CV-19 restrictions preventing 20-21 Visual Arts Centre from being open to the public at the times shown above. If that happens we will contact you with alternative collection and dropping off times.
