Free KS1 and KS2 Streamed Storytelling Performance for schools and families.

Join professional storyteller and educator Usifu Jalloh on an imaginative journey around Africa to celebrate Black History Month.

Black History Month UK is a celebration of Black history, arts and culture that takes place throughout October every year. The event provides an important opportunity to highlight and learn about Black history and heritage, and the way that people of African and Caribbean descent have shaped our nation’s story.

For Black History Month 2021, inspire your kids - or your KS1 and KS2 pupils - with this live performance from award-winning storyteller Usifu Jalloh. If you are a teacher, this storytelling performance can be streamed directly into your school! If you are a parent, you can book to watch this at home with your children.

The Story – The Best Musician

Through the transformative power of African storytelling, Usifu (The Cowfoot Prince) will transport your pupils around the world on a journey of learning and fun. This interactive and accessible performance will captivate children through music, dance and song, teaching them about African culture and heritage, as well as the value of embracing diverse cultures.

Join us live on Wednesday 20th October at 9.30am for 30 minutes of storytelling followed by a live streamed Q & A with Usifu so your pupils can ask questions.
