The true story of the nutty Universe, crazy planet Earth, chaotic evolution and unspeakable You!

After a thousand years studying our planet and the Universe, Scientists have finally pieced together the story of all 14 billion years, and how we emerged from the mingle-mangle. Dr Richard Robinson, Director of the Brighton Science Festival, will outline it all (in simple English) over 11 Zoom presentations, each Saturday between January 9 and March 19.

The things that happened over the 14 billion years since the Big Bang may seem mind-boggling, but the language won't be: science should be easy to understand, and that's what will happen. Each actual chapter will be just ten minutes long; the rest of the hour will be demonstrations, games chats and experiments based around each week's main theme: so, after the formation of the stars and planets in session one we do gravity games, and so on.

Everyone wants to know where we came from and why we're here. The World is full of wonderful myths. But none of them are as incredible as the reality, nor as logical either. Share the wonder!
