Oily Cart reimagines theatre for young audiences to make it more inclusive.

Oily Cart reimagines theatre for young audiences to make it more inclusive.
We travel across the UK and internationally to present our sensory shows and installations, which use different sensory techniques including live music, touch, aromatherapy, sound art, puppetry and film work. We create original theatrical experiences for and with all young audiences, regardless of their age or perceived ability.

Accessibility
We offer two strands of work:
· Focused shows, for young people who need more space, extra processing time and more one to one contact to engage fully with a piece.
· Inclusive shows, which are made thinking about people with the most barriers first in the creative process, but then open to all.
We create preparation resources such as social stories, and offer ear defenders and sunglasses at every performance. Our shows are designed to be wheelchair accessible and we always request a quiet space at each venue.
