BIRMINGHAM'S INTERNATIONAL AERIAL THEATRE COMPANYRoguePlay is a highly physical theatre company, creating narrative theatre using aerial and ground based circus, dance, physical theatre and poetry. Producing work both indoor and out, RoguePlay develop touring productions, commissioned pieces, and small to medium scale resident shows, many of which have family and children at heart.
RoguePlay manage Birmingham's dedicated Circus Space; West Midlands Circus & Creation Centre as well as produce the renowned Aerial Festival, TILT. The Company have an impressive history of national touring shows and commissions, working with companies such as Nofit State, Panasonic, Gravity & Levity and Channel 4.
With accessibility, inclusivity and a passion for circus & physical theatre at it's heart, RoguePlay are always interested in establishing new relationships with programmers, producers, community and organisations.

Our family-friendly offer
Our family friendly shows are suitable for those age 3+ and we welcome parents/carers with babies and toddlers.
Our Circus Space in which we are based is accessible with buggy parking and on the ground floor with onsite parking. We have a small play space, in which there are ride on vehicles, toys, sandpit and many other exciting things for children. All our teaching staff are parents themselves and have experience of working with children and young people. Our family friendly shows are followed by accessible workshops that cater from babies to grandparents, with a wide range of aerial and ground based activities for all ages. We provide workshops during the year as well as at our Festival, TILT, held in Birmingham, for Parents & Babies and Parents & Toddlers. We provide family friendly offers on shows and workshops alike.
We are breastfeeding friendly, with lots of comfortable seating and a place to warm milk. Private space can be provided is required.
We welcome all those with disabilities and learning difficulties, with a wealth of experience in working with wheelchair users, D/deaf and visually impaired, autism and long-term illness.
Some members of our team are trained to BSL Level 2, with consistent training in working with wheelchair users. Our current work is expanding into working with deaf-blind and we have shows that include touch tours and poetic audio description.
We are open and supportive and always welcome a conversation about particular needs.
